there ain't many trees that grow indoors foo!!! Thats why it doesn't look indoors
it's the diagonal of the branch reaching across. We read from left to right and the fact that it goes that way quickly makes ones eye comfortable in moving that way. plus the way the clouds go from whispy to pockmarked in black and white they are weighted differently and this splits the active area in quadrants that are all seemingly outdoor and cheerful as they aren't dark, they aren't brooding. It looks sunny but crisp (seasonally warm for this area of the rock) because of no leaves on the branches, i assume it's winter.
crisp but warm in the sun basically is what i was trying to say. I just figured you wanted the whole shabang
